Monthly LPS Competitions

Don’t miss our monthly photography competitions! Each month, we feature a different category, giving photographers of all skill levels a chance to shine. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore new styles, share your work, and connect with our creative community.

Competitions are open to all LPS Members. Categories are chosen by the membeers every fall.

LPS offers two levels of competition: Adavanced (A) and Amateur (M). You MUST compete at the Advanced level if:

  • You are a professional photographer (you earn more than 50% of your annual income from photography).
  • You have had a jury gallery showing.
  • If you are an accomplished photographer and are not in the above groups, you are encouraged to enter at the Advanced level.

PRINT ENTRIES are due onsite by 7pm the night of the meeting. (Do not send in digital versions of the print entries prior to judging. DIGITAL ENTRIES are a separate category.)

DIGITAL ENTRIES are due 2 weeks before the meeting. Use the button below to submit your digital entry.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any photo or any part of a photo that has won LPS competition points in ANY category or division at any time is NOT eligible to be entered again in LPS competitions.
