 2003 YEAR-END WINNING PHOTOS

Each month there is a competition at the meetings with three areas for competition: Color Prints, Monochrome / Black and White Prints, and Slides.  The categories for the competitions for the upcoming year are voted on in December.  Each month, all entries are judged, and points are awarded in each of the three areas for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honorable mention.  (Up to three honorable mention awards can be given in each area.)   At the end of the year, the points awarded to each person are added up, and the top three winners in each area for the year receive special recognition at the Annual LPS Banquet in February. 

Additionally, all the winning black & white and color prints and all slides (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mentions) are allowed to compete in a year-end competition.  This competition is for the best all-around entry.  Below are the 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place and honorable mention year-end winners in each area for the end of the year competition.
