To All LPS Members:

 Russ Johnson, owner of the Day Lily Garden, has invited the members of LPS to photograph the lilies and the garden this summer.  

 The garden is now open, but Russ has asked that you call before you come.  LPS has been extended a special invitation to come and photograph the garden and flowers on Sat., July 2 and Sun., July 3. You do not need to call ahead on those days. 

  

If you wish to come on your own to photograph the garden or to purchase lilies, just call Russ and set up a time.  (593-0943)

ADDITIONALLY

 Russ is offering a prize of $100 for a photograph of the garden / landscape, with the winner to be chosen by Russ and Sandy.   They would like to take a copy of this with them to their new condo when they move in a few years.  This fits very nicely with our February competition of floral gardens, floral landscapes, and fields of wild flowers, though it will be a separate competition.   The LPS board of directors will collect the  entries and will submit them to the Johnsons who will award the prize, with the understanding that an 11 x 14 copy of the photo will be given to them by the photographer for their condo.
