Membership Information and Application

In applying for membership in the Louisville Photographic Society, you agree to abide by our:
   Code of Ethics          By-Laws          Competition Rules

Purpose:   The Louisville Photographic Society was founded in 1941 to promote interest in photography and to encourage active participation in all its aspects.

Membership:  Membership is open to all persons and their families who are interested in learning more about photography and participating in photographic activities. 

Dues:  Dues are $35 per year per family (this is also the membership fee for individuals) and are due in January, but are pro-rated for those joining for the first time if they join part way through the year.  Dues for students through age 18 are $10 per year.  Contact the Treasurer, - Steve@louisvillephotographic.org  for amount due. 

Meetings:  Meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday at 7:30 PM. 

Competitions:  There are competitions held every month except in July and August, when there is usually a photographic seminar offered.  Competitions are offered to everyone, but you must be a member to compete.  Categories for competitions are chosen by the members every November.
